During the 19 years of my IT career, I've had the possibility to gradually take a few more steps back in order to see the big picture and try to leverage the best from what I've learned in order to (hopefully) achieve neat design and insightful software. On the side I created and am still involved in various open source initiatives. I am president since 2010 of the Java User Group of Luxembourg (YaJUG), I've spoken in multiple conferences, and co-initiated the Devops Mercenaries, a friendly group of experts focused on improving the collaboration between business, development and operations. I'm also organizing Voxxed Days Luxembourg, the number one development conference in Luxembourg, fully organized by a non-profit organization: YaJUG.
If your IT is too efficient, not bloated and responds to the requirements of your users, then this presentation is for you. If it's not, it's for you too. Inclusiveness is a characteristic of the Dev...oops movement, where everybody can complain about how the others are doing things wrong, and tell them how to fix it.
Come and learn about the patterns of Dev...oops.
