For once lets talk about cosmology and physics… instead of Java!
“20 years of Java” we all know what this means from a programming language and API point of view. But lets place this in perspective, 20 years is peanuts compared to the billion of years cosmologists have to deal with on a daily basis.
I personally discovered our Devoxx keynote speaker via a Netflix documentary named “The Unbelievers” (see trailer above). Impressed by the doc I gave it a shot and mailed him… to my surprise he replied 🙂
I’m extremely excited (but also a bit intimidated) to welcome Prof. Lawrence Krauss to Devoxx Belgium. I assume some developers might not have heard of him but he has all the credentials to potentially blow us away… an American theoretical physicist and cosmologist who is foundation Professor of the school of earth and space exploration at Arizona State University and director of its Origins Project. He received his Ph. D. at M.I.T. and is a best selling author with books like “The Physics of Star Trek” and “A Universe from Nothing“.
